ROOFTOP MUSICAL SOCIETY TO PERFORM AT
HUDSON VALLEY SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
for their OVERTURES SERIES
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2026
6:00PM
Before Les Misérables, the music sets the mood. Friday Night Overtures celebrates the extraordinary musical talent of the Hudson Valley with a thirty-minute live performance ahead of the show. Featuring invited artists drawn from HVS collaborators, local musicians, and the wider community, these performances are conceived as an opening prelude not a full concert to showcase the range and artistry of musicians in the region. These are free shows that anyone can attend before the main stage production begins. You’re welcome to bring a picnic!
For HVSF’s Overtures series, RMS brings its immersive approach to a 19th-century tavern-inspired musical set featuring Jessie Rogowski, Scott Seltzer, and Clarissa Pollack on voice, guitar, and fiddle. Created as a playful musical doorway into the world of Les Misérables, the performance blends folk music, musical theater, and the atmosphere of a rowdy French tavern.
