Justin Wingenroth (Choreographer, Dancer, Ensemble)
Justin Wingenroth is a professional dancer and performer whose credits span national tours, regional theatre, and contemporary dance. He appeared in the North American tour of Cats (Mr. Mistoffelees, Pouncival) and the national tour of 42nd Street. His regional theatre work includes productions of The Music Man, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and The King and I.
In the concert dance world, Justin has performed with C. Eule Dance, Christopher Caines Dance Company, The Chase Brock Experience, and Peconic Ballet Theatre, in addition to numerous appearances in The Nutcracker throughout the region. He continues to guest with Putnam County Dance Project and collaborates on independent dance projects.
Based in Westchester County, NY, Justin is the Owner and Director of The Dance Conservatory.
Jeff Lyon (Thomas Jefferson/Dancer)
Jeff Lyon received a motorcycle and ballet lessons at the age of six, and never stopped either. He was a part of the Avant-guard NYC dance performance scene through the turn of the century performing in, and on top of, theaters, graveyards, parking garages and escalators. This avant-guard became mainstream with the ground braking Immersive event sleep no more, of which Jeff was an original Americancast member performing from 2009 to 2014.

David is a recent graduate of Peekskill High School!
Maya Jordan - Angelica
Maya Jordan is a Fairy Godmother. She specializes in storytime, dancing in the kitchen, snuggles, teatime, all things sugar and spice, and has a Poppins Certificate and an advanced degree in Earth Mother Studies.
In real life, she’s a University of Michigan Graduate, a Singer, Actor, Writer, Producer, Creative Director/Consultant, and Composer. She has worked professionally in those capacities for many theaters, performance companies, artists, musicians, creative arts organizations, and filmmakers for over 15 years. Maya has performed in over 30 plays and musicals with many theater companies and ensembles, including a national tour and on Broadway at Town Hall. She has an extensive Shakespearean repertoire. She’s also a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. In addition to her stage work, Maya has worked on numerous film and video projects, including being a Singer/Songwriter for films and scoring and soundscapes for film and video projects. She’s worked on and in four films featured and honored at several film festivals. Maya also launched Library Card Productions, a film and video production company with her husband.
Maya’s original play Analog Heart, was one of five plays chosen from 50+ entries in Hudson Valley Shakespeare’s recent playwriting contest, Bake-Off.
Maya is currently featured in the avant-garde short film La Serissima, which just premiered at the New Year, New Work Film Festival and will be featured at the upcoming Peekskill Film Festival.
But back to the more fun stuff: Maya was raised on a healthy diet of English literature, Star Trek and Star Wars, PBS, Astronomy, and The Classics: music, rock, and film. She is also an amateur Herbalist, loves to cook, hosts grassroots fundraisers, volunteers with the elderly and at the local farm, and travels the world and in space and time. Her goal in life is to be “A Light in dark places when all other lights go out.” Maya is grateful and honored to participate in the creative opportunities that come her way! Jessie Rogowski (Director, Eliza)
Jessie Rogowski founded Rooftop Musical Society in NYC in 2018 out of her love of not only musical theater but immersive theater and wanted there to be a world where they both collided. She’s produced shows on rooftops, in loft spaces, warehouses, apartments, throughout two floors of churches, in parks, and plenty more. This marks her second larger-scale production since moving to Peekskill three years ago, and she’s beyond thrilled to be sharing the park - well, hall, with a wildly talented group of collaborators she’s recently met and instantly adored!
Recent stage credits include Hair (Crissy), Into the Woods (Cinderella), Spring Awakening (Ilse), and Footloose (Ariel), as well as touring the U.S. with indie chamber pop band All Boy/All Girl.
When she’s not on stage or producing immersive experiences, Jessie works as a freelance television editor for Food Network, Peacock, Netflix, Amazon, the Tony Awards, and The Public Theater.

Hevin Ellis - Peggy
Hevin Ellis is high school junior going into senior year. She has participated in multiple musicals for her school, such as Once on This Island, The Wiz, and Moana Jr., and two musicals for local theatre programs: Dancing Through a Dream and Show Way. She is a Peekskill City Singer and member of the student run acapella group Vocal Forte. She has participated in NYSSMA 2026 and ACDA East SATB Honor Choir 2026.
Candace Matthews (The Flagmaker)
Candace Lynn Matthews is a Bronx native who received her bachelor’s degree from the conservatory of music at SUNY Purchase College and master’s from the Aaron Copland School of Music in Queens College. Credits include Maria in West Side Story (Opera North) soprano soloist (Carnegie Hall), ¡Figaro! 90210 (Off-Broadway), Stonewall (New York City Opera). Outside of the theater world, Candace toured with Josh Groban as a featured choir member for his Stages tour and was featured singing on the hit Netflix drama, Orange is the New Black. Most recently, Candace has enjoyed working with Off-Brand Opera as Donna Elvira in their all-new English libretto of Mozart’s classic Don Giovanni, as Franziska Nietzsche in Nietzsche - A New Musical and as a swing in their production of Three Penny Opera. Candace is a proud alumnus of The New Voice Festival. She made her European debut singing the role of The Mother in Hansel & Gretel in Narni, Italy and role debut as Dido in Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas in Boise, Idaho.
Joel Knopf (Samuel Seabury)
Joel Weber Knopf is a singer-songwriter, performer, and vegan recipe explorer in the Hudson Valley. He is thrilled to be part of this production! @joelknopf
Tim Berryman (King George)
Tim Berryman is a Peekskill-based theatre artist originally from the UK. His past stage credits include A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Metamorphoses, Footloose, Twelfth Night, Once on This Island, A Year with Frog and Toad, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Outside of theatre, he is a ukulele player, songwriter, poet, and an avid tabletop game master, with a focus on storytelling and character across his creative work.
JJ Liang - Dancer/ Soloist/Ensemble
JJ Liang has been singing, dancing, and performing since elementary school. She has spent the past decade practicing law after receiving her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where she was part of the law school’s a cappella group. She also holds a bachelor degree from the University of Toronto. JJ is excited to be performing with Rooftop Musical Society to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
Gigi LeClair - Dancer/Soloist/Ensemble
Gigi Rita LeClair is an actor, performer, and creative based in New York. As a recent graduate from Marymount Manhattan College's BFA program, LeClair has training in not only a multitude of acting techniques but also voice, singing, movement, dance, devised work, and much more. Being nominated for "Outstanding Performance in a Leading Female-Identified Role" her senior year of high school was just the beginning of her accomplishments as she continued to graduate from a four-year program in three years, compose and perform music at the collegiate level, be cast in multiple school productions, and associate produce a released EP. LeClair is passionate about the arts and has an attention to detail that adds specificity and clarity to her work. When she is not performing, you can find her in nature, being active, or spending time with her family.
Emma Berdie Donson - Soloist/ Ensemble
Emma Berdie Donson grew up in Ossining, NY and graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Michigan. She has produced plays, web series, & feature films: Shot in the Dark (2022) is available on Amazon. She’s had the good fortune to work with Christopher Durang, Christine Lahti, Mark Cendrowski, Gregory Doran, & Charlie Haid. She is an Artist in Residence with The Braid (formerly JWT). She loves spending sunny days with her pups Winnie & Goose, making jewelry (@caesurastudio), and can’t wait to tell you about her upcoming progeny due Oct 2026! All love to Cor-Bear and the fam
Michelle Smith (Dancer, Ensemble)
Michelle is delighted to be back with Stage & Sips & Rooftop Musical Society after dancing the can-can with them in A Night in Montmartre! She has performed throughout the Hudson Valley and her recent credits include Irene Rudolph in Radium Girls at YCP TheaterWorks. Congrats to the cast and crew!
Stephanie Domanico - Soloist/ Ensemble
Stephanie Domanico is high school sophomore going into junior year. She has been involved with the theatre world since 8 yrs old. A few shows she has participated in are Once on This Island, Addams Family, This Murder was Staged, Newsies, Moana jr, etc. She is a Peekskill City Singer and member of the student run acapella group - Vocal Forte. She is an anchor for Peekskill Mercury News. She has participated in NYSSMA and ACDA East Conference 2026.
Lizzy Tate (Dancer/Soloist/ Ensemble)
Lizzy Tate is a freelance choreographer based in Westchester, NY, who has been dancing since she was five, and caught the “musical theater bug” at age eight. One of her first jobs was being a theatre camp counselor in Croton-on-Hudson where she began choreographing in 2008. Around the same time she helped out with Maggie Lipton’s Dance 4 Peace dance company, a non-profit that raised money for multiple causes such as Doctors Without Borders.
While attending Westchester Community College in 2012, she joined the Glee Club and started directing and choreographing for their showcases. In 2022, she was asked to come back to become a full-time choreographer for the club again. They just finished a production of RENT where she choreographed and played Mrs. Cohen.
Lizzy takes pride in being a dancer with disabilities such as fibromyalgia and POTS Syndrome.
She’s a lover of music and the arts who talks about her challenges and shares her story online through social media. While Lizzy isn’t working, she’s writing her memoir and surviving off of memes and tea.
She is very happy to be back on a stage and feels like she has found her love of musical theater all over again.
Shannan Buckley (Stage Manager/Ensemble)
Shannan is excited to return to the stage after a four-year hiatus. She was most recently seen singing Reuben James in Woody Guthrie’s American Song (ARC Stages) and misspelling “sermunkle” in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Afterwork Theater).
Will Rich - Pianist
Will is a collaborative pianist, music director, educator, conductor and vocal coach from Rockland County, NY. He has been music directing, accompanying, and performing throughout Rockland, Westchester, northern NJ, and CT for over a decade. He currently teaches elementary music and chorus in Port Chester, NY and resides in Stamford, CT.

Caitlin Wolf - Flutist
Caitlin Wolf is a Peekskill based artist and Licensed Massage Therapist. She received her MFA from The New School for Drama, and spent over a decade in NYC performing, teaching, and producing theater before moving to the Hudson Valley. Caitlin is also the owner of Hudson Valley Therapeutic Massage in Peekskill! She is delighted to be part of this production and bring out the flute.
